In the hottest week of the year 25 girls from St Swithun’s School, Winchester, volunteered their time to help re-launch UNIT 12, a community centre in Winnall offering activities and services for local residents.
Lockers Park Preparatory School’s pupils have been putting their design and technology skills to good use in a special project launched by local charitable organisation The Box Moor Trust.
Today, the Leehurst Swan Salisbury Schools Business Challenge team received their certificates and tokens from Mr Andy Rhind-Tutt, President of the Salisbury & District Chamber of Commence. The Leehurst Swan team has been honoured with an invitation to present to Baroness Jane Scott when she visits Salisbury later this week to talk with Salisbury business leaders.
More than 1250 African schoolchildren have been kitted out with school uniform courtesy of the Brentwood School’s parents’ association, the Friends of Brentwood School (FoBS).
On Thursday last week, over 100 students from five local schools joined the Big Sleep Out Shelter Build at St Swithun’s School to raise money and awareness for the homelessness charity Trinity Winchester.
